A Whole Nice Weekend Looms Ahead

Sorry to be corny, but isn’t it O.K. to be when you are excited?

This came yesterday, and I put it together.

My, but it takes up a lot of space. I don’t want to take it out to my studio yet, as I want it available here to play with.

Putting it together was hard work (for me, since I am not mechanically inclined), so I didn’t even try to wind the warp last night.

This morning, though, I did it, I think with some success.

My first attempt at “real” warping. Previously, I have only done the direct method using a peg.

All tied up and ready to be taken off…

And here it is!

Now to sley the warp onto the loom.
