The World of Adventure Visits Waverly

The other day, I had a really nice thing happen. I went to the little market down the road from where we are building and this was parked outside:

I went to the back to order some food, and the lady who works the grill introduced me to the nice couple who own the bike and told them all about our llamas.  The man and his wife were from Iowa and take bike trips every year.  They pick a different part of the country each year.  This year, they are riding from Key West to Maine!!  They were incredibly interesting to talk to.  I have always loved adventure books, such as Peter Jenkins’ Walk Across America and other stories about circumnavigating the globe in a sailboat, etc.  I came away feeling I had met some celebrities!!
